President and Director of CETEM presented this morning at a press conference the results obtained in 2009 and forecasts for the year 2010, among which, the implementation of a plan medium-term positioning and consolidation of the strategic lines of I + D + i

First we took stock of the activities carried out by the technology center during 2009, most notably the launch of its electronics and automation laboratory, which develops innovative projects based on the incorporation of electronics in furniture industry.

The ultimate goal of this line of work is to help companies achieve more innovative products.

Also emphasizes the organization of the exhibition "Discover 15 years of design," held at the Municipal House of Culture of Yecla and visited more than 500 people.

To this we must add the launch of the fifteenth edition of the International Design Competition, which have been submitted over 40 proposals and the beginning of the eleventh edition of the Master who teaches CETEM University in collaboration with the University of Murcia.

Also during this year that is about to close, the technology center has expanded its infrastructure in technological equipment to offer a wider range of services to its affiliates.

From a quantitative point of view, CETEM ended 2009 with a positive balance that has allowed to increase its workforce to 26 people.

Team that will develop the strategies adopted by the Board for 2010 that are based on the consolidation of R & D support to companies associated with the current situation.

Among these 10 lines highlight the implementation of a plan of positioning the medium term, the accreditation of testing laboratories, strengthening the area of R & D & I maintenance of the number of associated companies.

Finally, they mentioned the appointment of José Manuel Navarro, representing the company NAVARRO Azorin, and Esther Brown, of the firm SANCAL DESIGN, as Vice President and Treasurer of the Business Partnership research respectively.

Similarly, it was reported the unanimous approval of the Board, incorporating the same of a company representative ECU and other furniture company EGELASTA.
