The general director of Sports, Antonio Peñalver, today congratulated the yeclana tennis after beating Maria Jose Martinez, along with Tommy Robredo in the final of the Hopman Cup, played in the Australian city of Perth.

The yeclana player teamed up with Tommy Robredo.

Both beat the doubles team of Great Britain, consisting of Andy Murray and Laura Robson, making the Spanish team gets its third bowl in this competition for mixed teams.

Peñalver highlighted the work of Murcia in the pursuit of this title for the Spanish team and he predicted a season with much success.
