The Department of Culture has been scheduled for April and May at the Municipal Auditorium, a series of performances that offer a variety of music ranging from bolero, fado, dixieland and jazz melodic.
Begin on Saturday April 17 with performances by Olga Cerpa and Mestisay presenting "Romance," a show that combines the Latin American ticket to Portuguese fado.
Pick the songs on her new album "Little fado and other love songs."
The show is set in a stage setting that combines the light with a very proper theatrical treatment and support high-definition projection of prestigious national photographers.
On Saturday 22 May, with the performance of The Dix Machine, dixieland music at its purest.
This group is comprised of eight professional musicians belonging to the Cordoba Conservatory of Music and the orchestra in this city who share their passion for this style of traditional jazz of the twenties and thirties, a tremendously bright and lively music.
Finally, on Saturday May 29, Elvira Jazz Duo offer us a gig somewhere between chamber music and jazz melodic.
This group aims to encompass the traditional music of various European countries, performing jazz versions from a perspective, leading to moments of improvisation in music, from the essence of the rich heritage of European folklore.
All performances are open access, first-served basis and start at ten o'clock at night.
